Roll on 2017!
With the New Year already in full swing, Smile Soc is already taking leaps and bounds. We have lots of plans for this coming term, but we primarily aim to get involved with as many school events as possible. After all, community outreach is what we are all about!
Just yesterday, we held our first School event of 2017! Some of our members visited Charlotte Sharman school to teach 3 different year groups about the importance of oral hygiene. That's 65 children - our biggest group yet! Despite this, the event was a huge success. A big thanks goes out to everyone who took part.
In other news, some of you may have seen the King's Vision 2029 videos and noticed a few familiar faces! Last year, a few members of the Smile Soc Committee were asked to take part in a video commemorating King's successes and long term goals for the future as it nears the 200th anniversary since its foundation. The video amassed over 35000 views on the King's College London Facebook Page. Many thanks to Sarita, Timmy, Tripat and Vania for braving the camera and representing Smile Soc!
